Dr June Perkins: overcoming racism with love and education

My friend, creative and author Dr June Perkins was interviewed yesterday on ABC radio. I am sharing here a link to her beautiful family story relating how she learned to deal with racism through the love and kindess. June is currently releasing a visually stunning book of children’s poems: Magic Fish Dreaming. The book speaks to things close to her heart: family, nature and a hint of magic. Inspire your morning and listen to her story.

“For me there are five (5) powers to dealing with racism: power of education, excellence, love, poetry, and spirituality.”

Inspire your morning by listening to June's lovely story.
