Cooking my first Filipino styled spaghetti tomorrow for Jerry’s birthday treat. Ask a Filipino kid what they want to eat for their birthday and you can almost guarantee the automatic response will be “spaghetti”. And though you may think from my little photograph of the main ingredients (hot dogs pending) that Filipino spaghetti may be close to the most dreadful thing on the planet, live here for a little while and you’ll be asking for it too. I’m kind of excited about cooking it too and Jerry has asked me at least 15 times if he can cut the hot dogs (yep buying those red dogs tomorrow).
