(passing) green stretched rice fields
the tiny hut
twined rainbows of tshirts
Riding the bus through the first full day of sunlight in weeks inspired this little haiku poem. I wish I’d asked the driver to stop as the sight of week of washing against an entire rice farm was striking. Even though this little pic (taken with the phone pressed against the shakey windows) doesn’t do justice to the scene, the rainbow of colours is forever etched in my mind.
