visit the cemetery
burn candles and remember
their Mamma.

We arrived at the cemetery on All Saints Day (Nov 1) and Jerry’s brother Ryan had already been there many hours — cleaning the gave of his mother and keeping the candles alight. Jerry placed fresh red flowers in a white basket next to the burning candles. Afterwards, Ryan took us to his new house along a path through the sugarcane.
