Being able to access information online is a fundamental human right, and I do my best to ensure the content on my website is accessible to people with disabilities.

As a professional writer I am committed to writing clear, easy-to-read content — and I also follow the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

You can expect this website to be:

  • Perceivable — all content on the site is written in plain English and is supported with text alternatives for images and media. The content is well-structured and uses a logical hierarchy, with meaningful headings and paragraph sequences.
  • Operable — I regularly test my website to ensure the menus, links, and features work correctly. I do not use flashing graphics that may trigger seizures, and I ensure that audio elements have accessible controls.
  • Understandable — my website structure follows web standards and has a simple navigation system with consistent navigation elements and input tools.
  • Robust — my website uses responsive design technologies and is tested on a range of desktop and mobile web browsers. I follow Google’s best practices to minimise content loading times and ensure a good user experience.

Feedback

If you are having issues accessing the information on my website, please describe the problem using the contact form below.

It’s very helpful if you can include the URL you are trying to access and the exact nature of the issue (eg, link not working, no controls to turn off audio).

I’m usually in touch within a few hours and will do my best to address your concerns.
