Description
Benjamin Gets Into Trouble cross stitch is a replica of an illustration in Beatrix Potter’s famous book The Tale of Benjamin Bunny.
Naughty cousins Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit have been gorging themselves on Mr McGregor’s vegetables and are caught-out by Benjamin’s stern father.
In this funny scene, the two naughty boys are being marched out of the garden by B. Bunny Snr, with sore bottoms and very droopy ears. Kind of reminds me when my father caught me swinging on the clothes line in the early 70s.
The Project
This fun cross stitch is a very manageable size. The finished piece measures 26.3cm x 28.8cm when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 19,682 stitches. You’ll need 67 different DMC colours to recreate the naughty rabbit cousins. The pattern works perfectly with Pattern Keeper App and there are NO backstitches.
Matching Charts
Benjamin Gets Into Trouble cross stitch, is the second pattern in a set of four that illustrate the whole story by Beatrix Potter. You’ll find Peter Rabbit and his cousin Little Benjamin Bunny getting into into trouble from BB’s stern father, as well as Mrs Rabbit and the Flopsy Bunnies. Why not stitch the entire set for your favourite wall space or some cool tote bags?
More Beatrix Potter?
Beatrix Potter’s wonderful characters make fantastic cross stitch projects and I’m having plenty of fun (though maybe no as much fun as Little Benjamin Bunny munching lettuce) charting her original illustrations. Browse the store for the latest BP designs in counted cross stitch.
