The Artist
Cassius Marcellus Coolidge (aka Kash Coolidge) was an American illustrator and graphic artist who lived from 1834 to 1934. He used his incredible talents to create illustrations and posters for advertising houses, most famously the Brown & Bigelow’s packaging campaign featuring anthropomorphic dogs. The paintings that have become some of the most recognisable icons in pop culture, were originally commissioned for promotional calendars, posters, and packaging.
