Description

Naughty Peter Rabbit cross stitch pattern is a replica of Beatrix Potter’s classic storybook The Tale of Peter Rabbit. In the scene, the little girl bunnies obediently take their blueberry baskets from their mother, while Peter waits nearby in his best blue coat.

NOW, my dears,’ says old Mrs. Rabbit, ‘you may go into the fields or down the lane, but don’t go into Mr. McGregor’s garden.

Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail, who were good little bunnies, went down the lane to gather blackberries.

Peter on the other hand …

The Project

This is a cutaway cross stitch, meaning I have cut away the background behind Mrs Rabbit and her offspring. The muted pastels look lovely on white Aida cloth and the rest of the project is full coverage.  The finished piece measures 26.3cm x 29.9cm when stitched on 14 count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 12,518 stitches. The pattern works perfectly with Pattern Keeper App and there NO backstitches.

Matching Charts

Naughty Peter Rabbit cross stitch is the first chart in a set of four. If you’d love to stitch more of Peter’s fabulous adventures, I’ve charted a number of illustrations from the book. You can buy them individually or save 30% by purchasing as a set.

More Beatrix Potter?

Look for more replicas of Beatrix Potter’s wonderful paintings in the store. I loved the stories growing up and have been enjoying charting them into cross stitch patterns. As soon as I get time I’m going to stitch the Jemima Puddle Duck series.
