Red Lips Cross Stitch Pattern

Description

The Project

This project works best on 14-count white Aida cloth, though you could easily stitch onto linen. There are just 2,287 stitches and the finished piece measures (approx) 14.5cm x 7.2cm. It’s an easy cross stitch and great for beginners.

You’ll need 24 different DMC colours, mainly red, raspberry, and garnet tones to complete the project. I’ve used a scattering of grey and pale earthtones to add definition and depth to the creases and shadows between the upper and lower lip. Beginners might find this area a little tricky, but it’s still lots of fun to complete.
