Description
Benjamin Bunny cross stitch pattern is a replica from Beatrix Potter’s book of the same name. Audacious Benjamin is greedily munching away on Mr McGregor’s lettuce, while his cousin Peter Rabbit has a pocket-handkerchief filled with stolen onions. What naughty boys!
The Project
This is a (mostly) full coverage cross stitch, but I have cut away the background so the finished piece looks like the original book illustration. I do think you’ll have fun stitching Peter and Little Benjamin with their hands-on Mr Gregor’s fresh produce.
The finished cross stitch measures 26.3cm x 30.8cm when stitched on 14 count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 22,186 stitches. The pattern works perfectly with Pattern Keeper App and there are NO backstitches.

Beatrix Potter books were favourites of mind as I was growing up, so I’m keen to chart many more of her funny animal characters. Who are your favourites? I grew up with Timmy Tiptoes, the Flopsy Bunnies, and the two bad mice (Tom Thumb and Hunca Munca).
