Description

Mrs Tittlemouse cross stitch pattern was inspired by the front cover of Beatrix Potter’s famous book about a clean, tidy and no-nonsense sort of mouse. When Mrs Tittlemouse finds the wet and muddy (and totally uninvited) Mr Jackson in her parlour she is extraordinarily polite — but still follows him about cleaning up his muddy footprints.

The Project

This is a lovely cross stitch project that looks just like the original painting from the book — with NO backstitch. The finished piece measures 27.6cm x 28.3 cm when stitched on 14-count Aida cloth, but you’ll only be completing 19,075 stitches. You’ll need 68 different DMC colours to recreate the earnest Mrs Tittlemouse in cross stitch.

Please note: There is an extra chart for Pattern Keeper in your download pack which imports seamlessly into the App. PK is a great way to manage your cross stitch projects.

More Loveable Characters

Charting Beatrix Potter’s loveable characters into detailed cross stitch patterns is so much fun. I have a growing library of charts that feature Mr Tittlemouse, Timmy Tiptoes, Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-duck, Benjamin Bunny, Tom Kitten, and the rest of the crew. Be sure to check them out in the main part of the store.
