My friend Emelyn text me on 29 August to tell me she was putting up her Christmas tree. Any month ending is ‘ber’ is a Christmas month in the Philippines (and they usually throw most of January in there — plus a bit of August too). Carols were playing in the stores last Saturday (1st Sept). I took this photo today. I do love the Pinoy enthusiasm for Christmas.
