Need an affordable blog writing service? I am an Australian freelance writer with more than 15 years experience writing strategic articles and blogs for businesses, nonprofits, and authority websites.
What is blogging?
Blogging is the regular publishing on content online by an individual or an organisation. Blogs can be articles, posts, short text, photographs, and video, and always have a clear publishing date and author.
Blogging is a very powerful way of connecting with people online — and as a business tool, can help increase your web traffic, attract new supporters, and boost your sales.
One of the best things about blogging is the ability to directly engage with your readers through native commenting and sharing tools. Even better, every new blog post activates the Googlebot to crawl and index all new content on your website.

Blogging strategies
Blog posts can certainly drive traffic onto your website, and with the right blogging strategy, will convert those visitors into followers, fans, and paying customers.
Here are six of the most commonly used blogging strategies to help you achieve your business goals.
1. Authority Building
Customers feel safer buying from businesses and people they consider experts in their field. Use blogging to establishing your reputation as an industry authority or thought leader by publishing reliable content that solves a problem or provides new information about your industry.
2. Brand Awareness
Brand awareness blogging elevates your public image and company profile while keeping your audience familiar with your logo, corporate colours, key products, and trademarks. This type of content has a lot of photographs and media, and may even document your managers, line staff, and customers — out in the field.
3. Web Monetisation
Website monetisation is about configuring your website to generate passive income through affiliate marketing, pay-per-click advertising, premium content subscriptions, and offering digital products for sale. Blogging draws people to the site, and money is made when readers click the monetised links or buy something.
4. Guest Posting
A guest post is an article that is written and then published on another blog or website — but contains links back to your own site. Guest posting, also known as ‘link building‘, is a popular SEO blogging strategy for improving your website rankings with Google and the major search engines. Guest posting is also an excellent way of reaching a wider audience and reinforcing your reputation as an authority in your industry or service niche.
5. eCommerce
Use blogging to bring new customers onto your website and into your eCommerce store. eCommerce bloggers publish product comparison guides, product installation hacks, new products and seasonal launches, solutions to customer pain points, and even the profiles of people who actually use your products.
6. Nonprofit outreach
Blogging is an effective outreach tool for nonprofits, NGOs and charities. You could blog the heartwarming story of a beneficiary, publish your research about social injustice and organisational corruption, or update the contributors to your latest crowdfunding campaign. Nonprofit blogging will help build your tribe, bring awareness to your cause, and raise money to fund your projects.

Short-form blogs are under 1,200 words and the most common length is 800 words. They take a brief look at a single topic and are very easy to read. Short-form blogs generally target 1-2 keyword phrases.
Long-form blogs have more than 1,200 words and explore a topic in detail. They require a lot of research and planning to ensure the structure and sequencing is logical and meaningful. Long-form blogs target multiple keyword phrases.
Yes. For shortform blogs, the price includes keyword research for 1-2 phrases for your targeted audience. The content includes a strategic title, meta description (web snippet), and basic on-page SEO.
For longform blogs, the price includes keyword research for multiple keyword phrases related to your industry or target audience, as well as multiple cross links to strategic content on your website. I also write a strategic blog title and meta description (web snippet), and use standard on-page SEO.
No, I write all the copy myself. AI-generated text is rehashed content, and doesn’t add any value to your website.
My specialties are hospitality, customer service, Work Health and Safety (WHS), Human Resources (HR) and recruitment, Vocational Education and Training (VET), job seeking and career building, freelancing, business writing, operations management, and business communication. However, I can pretty much write about anything, as long as I have access to reliable research materials.
Over the years I’ve written content for dentists, psychologists, NDIS providers and disability carers, nurses, aged care facilities, landscape gardeners, boutique retailers, aircraft technicians, cat and dog owners, teachers, railway safety trainers, local government inspectors, food safety supervisors, hotel owners, community health organisations, registered club managers, university lecturers, Dangerous Goods storage manufacturers, artisan cooperatives, graphic designers, winemakers, musicians, air-conditioning technicians, plumbers, security guards, reiki practitioners, builders, climate consultants, safety specialists, horticulturalists, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, massage therapists, sports nutritionists, community development organisations, first aid product manufacturers, and many many more.
If your small business, NGO, or corporate organisation is out there making a valuable contribution in the world, I’m more than ready to write the content that brings greater awareness to the good that you do.
I don’t write content that promotes gambling, guns and weapons, pornography, conspiracy theories, recreational drugs, or dodgy supplements and wannabe health products.
I won’t write your student assignment, but more than happy to help with proofreading, grammar, and text structuring.
I don’t write clickbait titles and copy that violates another person’s copyright or legal rights.
