Description

Bayside Scene cross stitch pattern is a simple rural scene featuring an antique windmill and small sailboat. It was inspired by a design found in a vintage pattern book (circa. 1900).  Kudos to the original designer who managed to create a beautiful image by arranging simple lines and shapes.

I have re-worked the original design using contemporary DMC green-gray shades and made the charts compatible with Pattern Keeper.

The Project

This is a cutaway project that measures 14.5cm x 9.3cm (80 x 55 grid area) when completed on 14-count Aida cloth. You only need 5 x classic green-gray tones (DMC thread) but you could easily swap these for antique blue, charcoal, or classic navy. The project has 1,839 cross stitches.

Even though this is a very easy cross stitch, your download pack includes an extra chart that works seamlessly in the Pattern Keeper App.

Stitch the Set
