little rainforest pockets

deflect torrid morning light

inner-city summer

looking up tree trunk into canopy

Not far from where I live is a little pocket of rainforest trees that shroud a child’s playground and the local gym plaza. I do feel blessed to have an area of full shade that’s just a few minute’s walk from the apartment to practice tai chi and reiki, even when the summer-sun is blazing.
